Job summary

thyssenkrupp Elevator in Belfast is seeking a dedicated Lift Repair Engineer to repair, maintain and service client lifts across the region. You will perform safety checks, plan workloads, manage stock and advise on parts to keep equipment compliant.

You should hold an NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent, a full UK driving licence and excellent communication skills. A proactive, organised approach and strong customer care are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use initiative and work well with others.
• Strong organisational and customer-care skills.
• Advocacy for H&S regulations in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace customer lifts.
• Carry out safety checks and risk assessments.
• Plan and manage workload around assigned jobs.
• Maintain stock and order supplies via the supply chain.
• Recommend parts and equipment to keep lifts compliant.
• Occasional out-of-hours work on a pro rata basis.
