Job summary

thyssenkrupp Elevator in Belfast seeks a Project Supervisor to manage a regional portfolio, reporting to the Head of Projects. You will lead New Installation and Modernisation engineers and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires strong customer engagement, cross-functional coordination, and a commitment to quality and profitability across multiple sites in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational metrics and support achievement of performance targets.

• Conduct monthly financial reviews and report re-estimates; ensure snag-free handover to Service.

Project Supervisor will be responsible for managing a varying portfolio within the region of Ireland based in our Belfast office, reporting to the Head of Projects. This role will be responsible for directing and supervising their New Installation and Modernisation teams and ensuring jobs are managed in a safe, quality driven and cost-effective manner.

As a Project Supervisor, your day to day will include:

• Monitor operational metrics and support the achievement of performance targets
• Supervise and coordinate New Installation and Modernisation Engineers, including conducting monthly meetings, performance reviews and health & safety visits
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures and working practices
• Ensure all materials supplied comply with relevant regulatory codes, standards and customer specifications
• Visit customers to discuss work requirements, provide updates and monitor customer satisfaction levels
• Take ownership of customer complaints, ensuring they are managed in line with internal processes and resolved effectively
• Work closely with Modernisation and New Installation teams to ensure accurate, best-engineered materials are provided to support successful project delivery and profitability
• Oversee engineer timesheets, holiday requests and night call rota schedules
• Champion excellent customer service and health & safety practices, promoting TK Elevator values and behaviours
• Prepare and submit CPPs, Method Statements, Quality Plans and Programmes through to approval
• Verify key payment milestone dates with Credit Control prior to releasing units for manufacture and handover to the customer
• Submit project variations promptly and agree final accounts before project closure
• Conduct monthly financial reviews of projects, identifying and reporting positive and negative re-estimates where applicable
• Ensure snag-free project completion and successful handover to the Service team
• Complete and submit analysis reviews for projects exceeding the current target efficiency

• Previous experience in a Project Supervisor role
• Experience working in an Operational role in an engineering/manufacturing or construction industry
• Experience of a high-volume production environment
• Customer relationship management skills and experience
• Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to use your initiative and work well with others
