Job summary

Role requires UK driving licence, strong communication, and a proactive, organised approach. The position involves occasional out-of-hours work and travel within the region.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence and able to travel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to use your initiative and work well with others.
• Positive attitude and receptive to change.
• Extremely organised.
• Superior customer-care skills.
• The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development.
• An advocate for H&S regulations in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining customer lifts.
• Repairing or replacing lift parts.
• Responding to mechanical failures and breakdowns.
• Carrying out safety checks and risk assessments.
• Planning and managing workload around assigned jobs.
• Maintaining van stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain.
• Recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the lifts compliant.
• Out of hours work on a pro rata basis.
