Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor - High End Residential Refurbishment

Location: Site-based, Kings Cross / Farringdon

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor on an exciting £11m design & build residential project in Kings Cross / Farringdon. The scheme involves significant structural alterations and high quality finishes, making it an ideal opportunity for a QS who thrives on technically challenging work in the luxury residential sector.

Responsibilities
  • Full commercial management of the project from inception to final account
  • Procurement of subcontract packages and negotiation of contracts
  • Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • Managing valuations, variations, and change control
  • Working closely with the project delivery team to ensure budget, quality, and programme targets are met
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project QS (ideally on refurbishment or structural alteration schemes)
  • Strong knowledge of D&B contracts and residential projects
  • Ability to work independently on site based projects
  • Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with clients and subcontractors
