A leading international airport in Antrim seeks a Project Manager (Electrical) to oversee significant electrical infrastructure projects. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in project management, specifically within construction. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external contractors to deliver projects that enhance the airport's sustainability and operational efficiency. A full driving license and relevant qualifications are essential.

Monday – Friday, 09:00-17:00, with flexibility
About the Job
In 2023 Belfast International Airport announced a development program valued at £100M. To date, the capital projects team have successfully delivered >£35M in projects.
The existing engineering and projects team will be enhanced by the addition of a Project Manager (Electrical) to assist with the implementation of this capital program.
The next phases of works require an Electrical Engineer to lead projects involving the airports electrical infrastructure as well as contributing to projects involving the airports other systems.
The successful candidate"s primary project will be to manage the increased electrification of the airport estate and increased controls around energy efficiency. This is fundamental to VINCI Airports decarbonisation commitments and promotion of sustainable airport operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the airport’s future, reporting to the Capital Projects Manager, supporting the planning and execution of strategically important projects within a live airport operational environment.
The job holder will primarily be responsible for assisting the Capital Projects Manager in delivering Electrical & Systems Specific projects as well as Building & Civil Engineering projects.
These will include, but not be limited to, upgrades, reconfigurations, new builds, fit out and refurbishment.
