Job description

Project Manager

Our client is currently looking for a Project Manager to look after a portfolio of smaller projects within the water industry, the role will be Outside of IR35 and offering hybrid working with the clients’ offices being located within the Stockport area.

During the role you will be responsible to provide whole life oversight and accountability for the successful completion of maintenance projects and services, through design, procurement, assembly, commissioning and handover. You will also be responsible for making sure key project and programme risks are identified early and mitigated where possible.

Candidates must have experience of previously managing multidisciplinary projects including Civils and MEICA (Preferably in the Water sector) as well as having a strong tract record of delivery of project programmes. The client will be looking for a Project Manager that has a strong understanding of construction contract law and forms of contract through experience and formal training.

Candidates must have experience of using software such as MS Word, Excel, Document control systems and Primavera software and having previous experience of building trusted relationships with key clients, stakeholders, supply chain partners and within your own team and across the framework.
