Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting professional to join a high-performing Finance function within a major financial institution. This role will play a key part in delivering accurate, timely regulatory submissions across European jurisdictions, supporting both regulatory change initiatives and ongoing BAU reporting obligations.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in regulatory reporting frameworks, strong technical capability in Axiom / AxiomSL ControllerView, and the confidence to operate at AVP / VP level, engaging with senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and external regulators.

Role Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end-to-end regulatory reporting submissions, including data sourcing, validation, controls, reconciliations, and final sign-off.
• Lead the build, configuration, enhancement, and control implementation of regulatory returns within Axiom / AxiomSL ControllerView.
• Support both Regulatory Change initiatives and Run-the-Bank (BAU) reporting cycles, ensuring adherence to regulatory deadlines and quality standards.
• Develop and execute local regulatory reporting strategies for European jurisdictions, aligned with global reporting frameworks and governance.
• Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and Treasury, providing clear communication and issue resolution.
• Engage confidently with regulators as required, supporting queries, submissions, and regulatory reviews.
• Identify opportunities for process, control, and tooling improvements across the regulatory reporting lifecycle.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of reporting governance, documentation, and operating models.

Key Skills & Experience Required

• 5–10 years’ experience in Regulatory Reporting within a major financial institution.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Axiom / AxiomSL ControllerView, including build, configuration, validation, and control frameworks.
• Proven delivery experience across complex regulatory change programmes and BAU reporting environments.
• Solid understanding of European regulatory reporting requirements and local jurisdictional obligations.
• Experience supporting Group, Regional, or Entity‑level CFO functions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to operate at AVP / VP level, communicating effectively with senior Finance leadership and regulators.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
