A leading energy company in the UK is looking for a Project Manager for Buried Networks in Bristol. You will oversee project delivery, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and managing relationships with contractors. The Project Manager – Buried Networks is responsible for managing the successful delivery of buried heat network infrastructure projects in Bristol. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager – Buried Networks, the role requires strong leadership and collaboration with contractors and internal teams to ensure that projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
As the Client Representative, the Project Manager will attend CDM meetings, oversee construction activities, and enforce compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. The role will actively contribute to progress reporting, risk management, and the implementation of health & safety best practices.
The ideal candidate will have a background in construction project management, preferably in buried utilities or district heating, and an understanding of working within a matrix organization. This role also involves supporting pre-construction activities, procurement processes, and contractor performance evaluations.
