About Our Client

This is a temporary opportunity within a well-established organisation in the business services industry. The company operates as a mid‑sized enterprise with a strong presence in the technology sector, offering a collaborative and professional working environment.

Job Description
  • Lead the planning and execution of activities involving third‑party development teams.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively using company agreed tooling eg. MSP, Excel, KeyedIn, Jira
  • Own/update the project team's use of Confluence
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with internal standards.
  • Monitor, Manage Change requests, understand impact and suggest way forward.
  • Reporting - Provide status reports on progress and input into Programme/Steering board updates
  • Stakeholder management - Map and manage stakeholders across impacted business units and external partners. Input into Programme RACI. Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to align project goals with business needs.
  • Scope management - Ensure project goals align with business objectives and defined scope. Apply change management processes to control scope. Review project proposals to assess timelines, resources, and constraints.
  • Cost management - Estimate workload based on the scope and activities defined in the Work Breakdown Structure. Monitor the budget using Earned Value Management Technique. Define actions when applicable to stay within the approved cost baseline. Update the budget and reforecast as necessary. Actively looking at ways to reduce costs with no impact to the programme.
  • Schedule management - Develop project strategies, plans, and tools. Assign resources and responsibilities across project phases. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Procurement management - Coordinate the procurement activities to define the Procurement Management Plan. Work with Procurement department to make the appropriate decision on vendor and/or solution. Execute Control Procurement activities to assess whether vendor is delivering according to contract terms and conditions.
  • Risk management - Actively engage with HM (GO), HME, 3rd Party vendors, interface SMEs to identify, analyse, document, manage/mitigate risks to the project. Develop project strategies, plans, and tools. Assign resources and responsibilities across project phases. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Communication management - Develop project strategies, plans, and tools. Input into current plan and ensure all stakeholders aligned Assign resources and responsibilities across project phases. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Quality management - Develop quality assurance test plans in conjunction with Test Manager Direct quality assurance testing. Lead the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables supporting business needs.

  • Experience in automotive, retail, or consultancy sectors is a plus.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
