Job summary

Environment Agency seeks a Project Manager to lead and deliver flood risk management studies and schemes, overseeing delivery from planning through handover. You will work within our Project & Programme Management team, coordinating with suppliers, client representatives, and technical specialists to ensure successful outcomes and compliant governance.

The role requires strong contract and risk management, with travel to project sites and partner offices.

Qualifications

• Experienced in project and contract management.
• Feasibility assessment, asset management, cost monitoring/forecasting, scope preparation, CDM, engineering design and construction.
• Experience in a project and contract management environment, ideally within engineering, construction and/or flood & coastal risk management.
• Track record delivering technically challenging projects through a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver exciting, innovative projects including flood risk management studies and schemes.
• Oversee project delivery from initial planning through feasibility, design, implementation, construction and handover.
• Support teams and build high-performing, collaborative project environments with suppliers, clients and partners.
• Apply strong commercial acumen in project, contract and risk management while following governance and legislation.
