The role sits in Project & programme Delivery (PPD) and is a prominent position within our integrated project teams, taking responsibility for the management of projects as the Client project manager.

You will liaise with technical leads to ensure governance, assurance and legislation are followed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, innovative projects that reduce flood risk to communities and enhance the environment.
• Manage project delivery as the Client project manager, coordinating with technical leads to ensure governance and legislation compliance.
• Build a great working environment and high performing teams with suppliers, client representatives, and partners.
• Apply commercial acumen in project, contract and risk management while developing strong stakeholder relationships.
• Develop a resilient network with statutory authorities, landowners and local communities to negotiate agreements and approvals.
• Respond to incidents as part of the role and provide support during incidents with potential additional training and arrangements.
