Job summary

Environment Agency is seeking Senior Project Managers to lead and deliver projects that reduce flood risk and protect communities. You will sit in Programme and Contract Management, mentoring teams and coordinating with suppliers, stakeholders and technical leads to ensure compliant, timely delivery.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, governance adherence, and incident response readiness, with travel to sites across multiple offices. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project delivery and contract management.
• Ability to lead and develop project teams delivering results.
• Degree in engineering, environmental or geography related discipline.
• Experience in flood and coastal risk management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects as Client Project Manager or Project Executive.
• Mentor and manage Project Executives, Project Managers and teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers, client reps and partners in a governance framework.
• Apply risk, contract and cost management to ensure on-time delivery.
