A nationwide charity is seeking a manager for their Durham Dispersed housing service in County Durham, overseeing 30 properties supporting individuals assessed by the county housing team. You will lead a team of support staff to ensure high-quality housing and care. This position requires management experience and a commitment to helping those facing homelessness and related challenges. We are looking for someone with management experience to manage the Durham Dispersed housing service in County Durham. The service includes 30 properties available to house people assessed via the Durham County housing and homeless team. The properties consist of 15 assessment centre places and 15 longer‑term supported placements.
The team is made up of 3 dedicated support staff who provide support and housing management to residents. As part of the team, you will lead the staff and assist with running the service, ensuring high‑quality support and high‑quality housing is given, with support from the area Service Manager and Operational Lead.
