Overview

We're looking for a business‑focused Programme Manager to lead and coordinate activity as we move into the next phases of our Capstone project. This is a key role bridging the gap between IT and the business, influencing how new systems, processes, and ways of working are embedded across our organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the business‑facing UAT, Implementation and Hypercare phases of the project.
  • Act as the main link between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities, risks, and outcomes.
  • Oversee programme planning, governance, and reporting, maintaining a clear view of progress, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
  • Manage and engage with internal teams and third‑party partners to drive delivery against agreed timelines.
  • Support effective communication and engagement across multiple business areas to ensure successful adoption and business readiness.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies to maintain programme momentum and quality.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering large‑scale, multi‑site projects or programmes within a complex organisation, ideally within a PLC or enterprise environment.
  • Confidence leading significant change programmes through testing phases, business readiness and implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to distil technical information for business audiences and ensure alignment at all levels.
  • Skilled in governance, planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Qualified (or working towards) a recognised framework such as Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or a Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
  • Ability to work at pace, handle competing priorities, and maintain clarity in a fast‑moving environment.

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 per annum (based on experience). Annual leave: 24 days plus the flexibility to buy or sell up to 5 extra days each year. Public holidays and a birthday day off.
