Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate to lead programme delivery and PMO activities across major capital programmes, delivering on time and to budget. You will drive governance, client relationships, and commercial performance while guiding multi-disciplinary teams.

You will work from a strong base in construction programme management, applying NEC/JCT knowledge and risk-aware decision making to realise benefits for clients and the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in programme management, including large real estate transformation programmes (£100-£300m+) with benefits delivery.
• Ability to prioritise complex programmes across lifecycle.
• Experience in large multidisciplinary teams and construction environments.
• Understanding of project controls methodologies and schedule/cost/risk management.
• Experience engaging with senior client levels and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver programme vision and direction; lead and motivate teams to high performance.
• Maintain robust assurance frameworks and governance across the programme.
• Manage commissions, client satisfaction and business development opportunities.
• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies across senior levels.
• Oversee financial governance, reporting, and cost management across the programme.
• Identify and mitigate health & safety risks; promote a culture of safety and compliance.
• Lead talent development and foster an inclusive team culture.
