Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United Kingdom seeks an Associate Director to lead programme management and PMO delivery on multi‑million capital programmes. You will shape strategy, drive governance, and build strong client and stakeholder relationships across complex construction environments.

You will mentor teams, oversee end‑to‑end delivery from definition to benefits realisation, and ensure financial and risk controls align with the business case and organisational strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex transformation/real estate programmes (£100-£300m+) with demonstrable benefits.
• Ability to prioritise and optimise complex programmes, across lifecycle stages.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams including project controls, technical and commercial groups.
• Strong understanding of procurement routes and contracts (NEC, JCT).

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of shaping programme vision and direction and empower high-performing teams.
• Maintain robust governance and assurance frameworks for programme delivery.
• Lead commercial management, client satisfaction, and business development opportunities.
• Oversee stakeholder engagement, risk management, and financial governance.
