Job summary

A Scottish Charitable Organisation is seeking a programmer and development manager to lead marketing and programming at Caird Hall, Dundee’s leading concert venue. The ideal candidate will have experience in venue management, event operations, and budget management, along with a degree in a relevant field. Qualifications

Overview

Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city. www.leisureandculturedundee.com

We are looking for a connected and dynamic programmer and development manager to begin a new exciting era at Caird Hall, Dundee's premier concert venue. Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area e.g. Marketing, Event Management or relevant experience.
Responsibilities
  • To strategically lead, develop and manage the programming and marketing of the Caird Hall Complex in line with the priority objectives of Leisure and Culture Dundee.
The Individual
  • Proven experience in venue management, live event operations, or a related role in the arts, entertainment, or hospitality sector.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365, including Word, Excel, Teams etc.
  • Understanding and experience of working with promoters and producers across the UK.
  • People management experience. Ability to set staff standards and monitor delivery through effective performance management.
  • Proven understanding and experience in live event planning, marketing, delivery and reporting.
  • Understanding social media and marketing platforms and extensive experience of delivering marketing strategies.
  • Experience of budget management and managing marketing budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
