Job summary

A respected firm of Independent Trustees in Manchester is seeking an Independent Pension Trustee Associate Consultant to support their team. The role involves delivering consulting services and assisting in managing a portfolio of trustee appointments. Ideal candidates should have over 5 years of experience in pension consultancy or administration and be making progress towards a relevant qualification such as APMI. This position offers a flexible, hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Independent Pension Trustee Associate Consultant to join the team of this highly regarded firm of Independent Trustees.

Based on a flexible, hybrid basis out of their flourishing Manchester operation, your role as Trustee Assistant Consultant will be to support the experienced team of Trustees and Trustee Directors who actually hold a portfolio of trustee appointments and deliver consulting services to other clients.

Through your excellent technical understanding of pension legislation, regulations, scheme management and compliance exposure, along with a broad understanding of trusteeship / trustee services, you will be responsible for helping the team deliver effective trusteeship and consulting services.

Candidates should have a minimum of around 5 years’ experience gained within either actuarial, pension consultancy or trustee services, though applications will be considered from those with exceptionally strong experience gained in the pension administration environment provided they possess superb technical knowledge.

Candidates should have also made significant progress toward a relevant pension qualification such as APMI or equivalent.
