Job summary

A talent acquisition consultancy is seeking a Production Technician for a permanent role based in Bristol. The position offers a salary between £30,000 - £35,000.   • Disassemble, survey, inspect, document, and repair products.
  • Follow technical engineering documents to complete tasks.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and/or calibration tasks.

Overview

Production Technician – Permanent role – Based in Bristol – Offering between £30,000 - £35,000

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing products to ensure they meet specifications
  • Responsible for disassembly, survey, inspection, documenting, and repairing of products
  • Read, interpret, and follow the technical engineering documents required to complete tasks
  • Follow instructions and documentation precisely
  • Follow processes to ensure the effective management of FOD (Foreign Object Debris), Tool Control, Electrostatic Discharge, Security of Assets, etc.
  • Participate in health & safety training as required and perform health & safety roles as needed (e.g. fire marshal, etc)
  • Highlight and identify any issues and engage in structured problem-solving activities to identify root causes and solutions
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and efficiency
  • Follow procedures to perform preventive maintenance and/or calibration tasks, reporting any issues found
  • Maintain records of assembly processes, tests, and inspections performed
