Overview

Production Team Leader – Location: Tewkesbury. Hours: 37.5 hours/week minimum, 5 days over 7 (varied start times from 06:00). Salary: £14.12 - £15.42 per hour (plus overtime enhancements). Contract Type: Temporary leading to a permanent vacancy upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead & Motivate: Manage and guide a team of Production Operatives
• Stock Control: Oversee accurate manufacture, movement and tracking of chilled stock
• Operational Efficiency: Ensure the safe and timely manufacture of all products
• Compliance & Standards: Maintain a clean, organised Manufacturing environment in line with health & safety regulations
• Team Support: Provide cover for the Production Supervisor when required
• Foster a Positive Culture: Promote open communication and a proactive team environment

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a Production Team Leader or supervisory role (ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG)
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Willingness to work rotational shifts with flexible start times from 06:00
• Strong communication, team coordination and problem-solving skills
• Solid working knowledge of health & safety and warehouse best practices
