They are looking for a Production Supervisor responsible for monitoring stock production, ensuring customer specifications, orders, and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the company's strategy positively and enthusiastically, prioritizing its best interests and commercial growth internally and externally.
  • Oversee manufacturing and packaging of products against agreed timelines, costs, and specifications.
  • Manage raw material and consumable costs effectively.
  • Ensure adequate resources and training are in place.
  • Lead by example to demonstrate a positive food safety culture.
  • Manage and motivate staff according to company guidelines and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Work with the Operations Director to set staffing levels and manage weekly wages within budget.
  • Set targets and uphold high standards of behavior and workmanship.
  • Identify training needs and support staff development.
  • Act as the main contact with agency staff providers, ensuring effective communication.
  • Maintain product quality and food safety standards.
  • Ensure specifications are understood and accessible.
  • Achieve performance targets related to yield and quality.
  • Maintain standards of workmanship to meet company and customer expectations.
  • Comply with legislative and accreditation standards.
  • Ensure hygiene standards are maintained ('clean as you go').
  • Maximize premises and stock security at all times.
