Overview

We are looking to recruit a Production Operator to join our workforce across our BSW Timber site in Newbridge. As a Production Operator, you will contribute towards the creation of quality timber products - on time and to specification.

Responsibilities
  • Operation of state-of-the-art sawmilling machinery.
  • Manual handling of timber.
  • Working towards set production targets.
  • Operation of mobile plant vehicles.
  • Upholding the appropriate health And Safety practices.
  • Ideally, we\'re seeking motivated and hardworking individuals who are quality focused and who understand the value of the goods they are producing.
  • A degree of flexibility will be required to ensure operations are maximised, maintained and quality targets are met with minimum wastage.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
  • Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous.
