Job Description

The main purpose of the Production Operatives role is to carry out all allocated line based activities, as directed by the Team Leaders and Manufacturing Managers which will contribute to the overall team production output.

Please note that some of the tasks given can be very repetitive and you will be on your feet 7 hours a day.

Key Accountabilities
  • Feed raw material onto a production line.
  • Feed planks into the portion saw.
  • Weigh product into trays.
  • Feed trays into the tray sealer.
  • Feed coated product into cartons.
  • Pack into outer cases.
  • Palletise and wrap finished cases.
  • Visually inspect raw material at the feeding stage and remove any defected material.
  • Visually inspect coated material for defects in line with the attribute.
  • Check print quality on all packed product.
  • Check seal integrity on all sealed trays and cartons.
  • Carry out line cleaning tasks of equipment and surrounding work areas as necessary.
  • Attend training courses as required to carry out production tasks efficiently, effectively and safely.
  • Adhere to all Quality and Technical standards required for the area.
Shifts
  • Monday - Friday
  • 06:00 - 14:00
  • 14:00 - 22:00

Pay: £12.30ph

Location: Caistor LN7 6PX
Due to rural location you will need your own transport to attend site.
