Production Manager - Walsall

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Mon-Thu 08:00-17:00 | Fri 08:00-14:30
Contract: Permanent

We're recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join a well-established, family-run manufacturing business in Walsall. This is a permanent role with a company that truly looks after its staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and develop production teams, including supervisors and operators.
  • Plan and oversee manufacturing processes to meet targets and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles.
  • Monitor workflow, coordinate materials, and manage stock levels.
  • Track KPIs, prepare reports, and support strategic decisions.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing production management role.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Winman preferred) and production planning tools.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
