Job summary

An established production company in Knowsley seeks a full-time Production Assistant to support the manufacture and preparation of glassware and laboratory consumables. Ideal candidates will have experience in a production or warehouse environment and knowledge of GMP standards. Production Assistant

Knowsley
£24,570 per annum

Monday to Friday, 08:45am – 5:00pm
Permanent

We are working with an established company in Knowsley hiring for a Production Assistant to join their team, they have great benefits, good working hours and staff tend to stay with the company for a long time. The role involves supporting the manufacture and preparation of glassware and laboratory consumables within a GMP-compliant environment.

Laboratory Experience, or experience within Chemical & Pharmaceutical Manufacturing will be advantageous to your application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shrink wrapping and labelling of products
  • Preparing packaging and product shipments
  • Cleaning and preparing products and work areas
  • Tube capping and boxing
  • Assisting with stock control of raw materials
  • Operating a pedestrian lift truck to load and unload products
  • Assisting with incoming deliveries and transferring goods to secondary storage facilities when required
  • Working in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
  • Following company methods, processes, and procedures in line with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment (desirable)
  • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with GMP standards (desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain clear, concise, and accurate records
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ideally educated to GCSE level in Science and Mathematics (or equivalent)
