Job description
Job Purpose:

To create, optimise, and maintain high-quality, SEO-friendly product listings across all eCommerce platforms — including the company website, eBay and other potential digital marketplaces — ensuring consistent branding, accurate fitment details, and engaging copy that drives conversions and reflects the company’s premium motorcycle parts range.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Product Listing Creation

Create accurate and compelling product titles, descriptions, and specifications for new and existing products.

Ensure listings are consistent across all platforms (website, eBay, Google Shopping, etc.).

Input correct fitment data (make, model, year) and verify compatibility.

Upload and optimise product images, ensuring adherence to platform image standards.

  2. SEO & Optimisation

Write keyword-rich product titles and descriptions to improve search visibility.

Conduct keyword research for each platform to align listings with customer search intent.

Implement metadata, tags, and structured data where applicable.

Review performance analytics and continuously refine listings to improve ranking and conversion rates.

  3. Content Quality & Brand Voice

Maintain a consistent tone of voice and ethos that reflects the company’s brand identity.

Apply persuasive copywriting techniques (ethos, rhetoric) to drive engagement.

Proofread all content for accuracy, grammar, and style consistency.

  4. Platform Management

Ensure all listings comply with each platform’s content, pricing, and policy guidelines.

Identify and resolve listing errors, duplicate content, or missing data promptly.

  5. Collaboration

Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure accuracy of technical details included updating year, make and model compatibility.

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in eCommerce or product data entry roles.
  • Strong understanding of SEO for eCommerce.
  • Experience with marketplaces (eBay, etc.) and CMS platforms.
  • Excellent written English with strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of motorcycle or automotive parts (fitment, models, compatibility) — advantageous but not critical as data is provided.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, or bulk‑upload tools.
  • Basic knowledge of image editing (Photoshop or Canva) preferred.
Personal Attributes:
  • Self‑motivated, organised, and detail‑oriented.
  • Passionate about accuracy and presentation.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
  • Interest in motorcycles or motorsport (a strong plus).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Accuracy and completeness of product listings.
  • Improvement in search visibility and sales conversion rate.
  • Reduction in listing errors or customer fitment queries.
  • Consistency in brand tone and visual presentation across platforms.
