Product Compliance Coordinator

We are proudly partnering exclusively with a forward-thinking organisation to recruit a Product Compliance Coordinator—a newly established role created to bring structure, clarity and consistency to their compliance and regulatory activities.

About the role

The Product Compliance Coordinator will become the central point of expertise for interpreting regulatory and legislative changes, translating complex technical requirements into practical guidance, and ensuring the business maintains high standards across quality systems including ISO 9001. You’ll support audits, update documentation, liaise with overseas teams, and ensure products and processes stay fully compliant with evolving global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and interpret regulatory and legislative updates across UK, EU, USA and Middle East regions
• Communicate compliance changes clearly to engineering, quality and operational teams
• Maintain and update ISO 9001 processes to keep the site audit-ready
• Prepare and manage technical files, regulatory submissions and documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues across Europe, including occasional international travel
• Verify supplier certifications and ensure regulatory requirements are consistently met
• Work with external labs on testing, approvals and technical specifications
• Keep version-controlled documentation and organised records
• Support process improvements linked to regulatory or industry changes
• Attend relevant forums and industry events to stay ahead of regulatory shifts

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in compliance, regulatory, auditing or quality roles within engineering or manufacturing
• Product compliance experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and broader international regulatory frameworks
• Ability to interpret technical and legal information and turn it into clear guidance
• Comfortable building relationships with international teams and travelling to Europe when required
