Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an Associate Director to lead its Contract Services capability in the UK. You will drive strategic procurement on large programmes, shape service offerings, and lead a specialist team of procurement consultants. The role offers hybrid working, Chartered Status progression through CIPS, and exposure to blue‑chip clients.

You will develop and manage client relationships, pursue new business, and ensure delivery against ambitious targets across public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated procurement and Public Contract Regulations 2015.
• Leadership of strategic major procurement projects for public and private clients.
• Tender preparation, development and management, including negotiation.
• Strong client relationships and people management.
• Experience with NEC and JCT contracts.
• Public procurement background; defence/utilities/ infrastructure desirable.
• MCIPs accreditation pursued or achieved.
• Business generation and bid development.
• Degree in construction, civil engineering, law or procurement.
• Security clearance (SC) or ability to reinstate.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to Public and Private sector clients.
• Lead end-to-end procurement services on major projects or programmes.
• Develop the procurement services and capabilities of the team.
• Lead and develop a team to achieve client outcomes.
• Manage client relationships and related commission outputs.
• Support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team.
• Lead on bid preparation and proposal documentation.
• Support delivery of team and business targets.
