Job summary

Turner & Townsend is hiring an Associate Director in Contract Services to lead strategic procurement and end-to-end services for major programmes in the UK. The role involves managing a skilled team, developing innovative procurement offerings, and driving client relationships with blue-chip clients.

Hybrid working is encouraged, with opportunities for national and international travel to service key commissions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Public Contract Regulations 2015 and knowledge of Green Paper.
• Experience leading strategic major procurement projects for Public and Private sector clients.
• Background in tender preparation, development and negotiation.
• Strong client relationships and people management.
• Experience with NEC and JCT contracts.
• Aim to achieve MCIPs accreditation (current or in progress).
• Business generation including bid development.
• Degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.
• Experience in Defence, Utilities, Infrastructure (roads, rail etc) sectors.
• Security clearance – current or restorable.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement strategy advice to Public and Private sector clients.
• Lead end-to-end procurement services on major projects or programmes.
• Lead and support development of procurement services offered by Turner & Townsend.
• Lead and develop a team to achieve successful outcomes for clients.
• Manage client relationships and related outputs/deliverables.
• Lead and support business development and marketing of Contract Services.
• Lead on bid preparation and proposal documentation.
• Support delivery of team and wider business targets.
