About our role

We have created an exciting new opportunity for a Procurement & Project Coordinator to join our Central Operations Team. This is a pivotal role dedicated to supporting our portfolio of developments. You will act as a bridge between procurement strategy and operational execution, ensuring our residents receive maximum value through high-quality services, rigorous compliance, and efficient project coordination.

Responsibilities

Working closely with both the Senior Procurement Manager and the Projects Manager, you will help shape our long-term Supply Chain Strategy. You will be responsible for supporting our operations—managing contractor onboarding, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring our buildings remain safe and compliant with all relevant legislation.

  • Procurement Strategy - Assist in implementing the Pegasus Homes Procurement Strategy, negotiating service agreements, and monitoring Framework Agreements to ensure value for money
  • Contractor Management - Coordinate the onboarding, vetting, and financial verification of new suppliers via our system, FixFlo
  • Compliance & Safety - Schedule third-party inspections to ensure strict adherence to statutory deadlines and maintain meticulous compliance records
  • Project Coordination - Support the Project Manager in the mobilisation of new properties and the delivery of capital works, including awareness of Section 20 notices
  • Operational Support - Manage heat tariffs and utility contract reporting, raise purchase orders, and resolve contractor queries efficiently
  • Process Improvement - Develop document templates and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to drive internal efficiencies
Good to know
  • Pegasus Homes have a large portfolio of properties and occasional travel to other offices and site locations may be required
  • This role is hybrid based with a minimum expectation of 2 days per week on site in Kings Worthy office, Winchester
About you

You’ll be proactive and thrive in a commercial environment, previous procurement / administration experience is essential, ideally gained within an estate, property management, housing or facilities management related sector.

  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and comfortable learning systems like FixFlo and Qube
  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety as it applies to contractors and works
  • Excellent reporting skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A professional team player with a flexible, "can-do" attitude
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A qualification in Procurement (CIPS), Supply Chain (IoSCM), or Surveying (RICS) is highly desirable
  • Excellent spoken and written English
