Job description
What will you be doing

We are seeking a talented Group Procurement Manager to join our team in London. The role works closely with the Senior Group Procurement Manager on all aspects of the procurement life cycle and leads on allocated sub‑categories.

As Group Procurement Manager you will support the Evelyn Partners Group on all third‑party engagements, enhancing commercial and operational value to the business and its clients. You will negotiate commercial deals with suppliers to reduce cost and improve service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a fast‑paced dynamic procurement team and a can‑do attitude to see things through to completion. You will actively manage supplier risk and performance, ensuring continuity, and develop supplier relationships to keep the group at the forefront of innovation within all categories.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work as a business partner with key stakeholders across the Group, acting as the first point of contact for procurement queries and playing an integral part in building relationships and providing procurement advice.
  • Ensure company‑wide procurement requirements and contract management solutions for allocated categories are managed effectively.
  • Support the Senior Group Procurement Manager in high‑value and complex projects and deputise as necessary in relevant meetings and working groups.
  • Manage the contract repository, procurement pipeline and tracker to see projects through to completion and own the cradle‑to‑grave procurement process including ITT/RFP, RFIs, RFQs.
  • Conduct commercial and contract negotiations and implement appropriate tactics to achieve favourable outcomes, ensuring all contracts meet Group policy, regulatory and industry standards.
  • Develop relationships with existing suppliers to reduce costs or provide enhanced service while delivering innovation, sustainability and benefit to the business.
Qualifications
  • Significant experience within indirect procurement negotiation and supplier relationship management, with a sound understanding of procurement category management.
  • Experience in end‑to‑end strategic procurement across specialist categories such as FM, property, construction, IT or marketing; generalists will also be considered.
  • Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment, ideally coming from a financial services background, however other backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Experienced in drafting and interpreting contracts and clauses.
  • Creating and managing complex tender and benchmarking exercises leveraging e‑sourcing platforms (Curtis Fitch) to run, manage and report on tendering exercises.
  • Ability to analyse data to inform effective decision‑making, prioritise workload to meet deadlines with excellent attention to detail and good problem‑solving skills.
Desired
  • Strong academic record (ideally a 2.1 degree).
  • MCIPS qualification or working towards the qualification.
  • Prince2/APM (desirable).
