We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global organisation seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their high-performing team within the Protein Diagnostics Division. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the organisation's reputation for innovation, precision, and excellence.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work in a laboratory-based manufacturing environment, collaborating with a dedicated team focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate within a manufacturing laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
  • Support workload management and planning activities to meet production targets.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with cGMP requirements.
  • Contribute to process improvements and always uphold safety practices.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong communication and digital literacy skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Competence in using computer applications, particularly MS Excel.
  • Practical understanding of units of measurement and basic mathematical skills.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • Consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to chemical hygiene protocols.
  • Manual handling of laboratory equipment and chemicals.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 20 kilograms.
Education & Experience
  • GCSE level education (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience, OR a relevant degree.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory, or related fields.
  • Prior cGMP experience is desirable.
