A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to support a multisite manufacturing group. This role involves project management, mechanical improvements, and travel across England to various sites. ATA are supporting a multisite manufacturing group who are looking to add process improvement engineers to their central engineering function. The group who has a 35% foothold within their market is a giant within the industry and has been going from strength to strength since their inception in the 60s, now turning over north of £300 million. The company employs over 2000 staff across the country and boasts a portfolio of manufactured goods second to none. These goods are some of the UK's most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market.
The central engineering function plays a critical role in providing 'hands on' technical support and expertise whilst driving plant operational improvement to each of the group's 15 sites.
This process improvement engineer vacancy will offer a varied and challenging working environment. You'll be given the responsibility and empowerment to stretch your problem‑solving abilities, satisfying the natural curiosity that being an engineer brings.
Joining our customer as a process improvement engineer, you will be joining a company that has fantastic employee engagement with many of their staff being with the business a long time. You will also be joining a group that has ambitious plans to keep growing in a market they already excel in. Since 2023 they have invested over £150m across their plants, which include a brand‑new site the largest of its type in Europe.
