Private Client Paralegal - £30,000 per annum

Location : Kent

Contract : Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

Our client, a well-established and respected law firm, is seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Private Client Paralegal to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a genuine interest or experience in Private Client work to develop their skills within a supportive and professional setting.

The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting fee earners with a varied Private Client caseload. There may also be optional opportunities to assist the Family department, although this is not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting fee earners with a range of Private Client matters, including:

  • Wills and estate planning
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Lasting powers of attorney
  • Trusts and inheritance matters
  • Drafting legal documentation and correspondence
  • Conducting legal research and assisting with file management
  • Liaising with clients, colleagues, and external organisations professionally and sensitively
  • Preparing bundles and maintaining accurate records
  • Optional assistance with Family Law matters for those wishing to broaden their experience
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience or a strong interest in Private Client law is essential
  • Previous paralegal experience, ideally within a Private Client team, is advantageous
  • A high level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle a busy workload and work effectively under pressure
  • LPC / SQE or other relevant legal qualification is desirable but not essential
