Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure secure entry and exit of staff, visitors, and vehicles.
• Operate establishment radio system and monitor CCTV.
• Book visits and identify/process visitors on arrival.
• Monitor/log mail and report illicit items.
• Ensure cell doors are secure and prisoners accounted for.
• Assist in supporting tasks in reception and photograph prisoners.
• Supervise prisoners and assist with movement.
• Deliver and collect food trolleys.
• Transport prisoners and collect mail.
• Maintain log of phone requests and check registered solicitors.
• Conform to policies and respond to emergencies.
