Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Principal Technical Pricing Analyst to lead pricing model development and mentoring within the motor pricing team. You will shape modelling plans, prepare data, build models and apply credible techniques to improve pricing accuracy and business impact.

The role offers hybrid working from UK offices with strong development support, training, and access to Databricks, DataCamp and LinkedIn Learning to sharpen technical and commercial impact.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GLMs and GBMs for pricing models.
• Experience with large data sources and model back-testing.
• Proficiency in Python/SQL and data prep for pricing.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Radar and Emblem tools.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven project leadership and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and review of pricing models and plans.
• Mentor junior team members and deputise for manager.
• Back-test models and assess pricing impact with adjustments.
• Plan projects with clear business objectives and stakeholder impact.
