Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Technical Pricing Manager for Direct Motor to lead a team of six and drive development and maintenance of pricing models for a major motor portfolio.

You will oversee GLM and ML methods, leverage migrated data assets, coordinate with the data team, and push for cutting-edge risk modelling while collaborating with global pricing experts.

Qualifications

• Strong background in volume-lines technical pricing with GLMs and ML.
• UK motor insurance experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Prior project management or steering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical pricing capability for Direct Motor.
• Maintain, develop and monitor the pricing models underpinning over £1bn of personal line motor GWP.
• Collaborate with the central data team to ensure data quality and modelling readiness.
• Deliver regular GBM and GLM model refreshes and drive R&D to improve processes and features.
• Share expertise with and learn from other pricing teams across the global Allianz group.
