Job summary

Allianz Management Services Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal Pricing Analyst to join the Broker home Pricing team. The hybrid role allows base from London, Bournemouth, Chelmsford or Birmingham and focuses on pricing strategy and product decisions for customers and brokers.

You will carry out statistical analyses, model updates, and provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders to optimise pricing while supporting rate reviews and BAU activities in a flexible hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Advanced pricing experience in personal lines.
• Experience handling large data sources and coding (Python/SQL/SAS).
• Knowledge of statistical modelling methods and ML techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing the impact and implementation of risk model updates and improve data/processes.
• Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and modelling outcomes.
• Handle data from source to rating changes and implement rating updates.
• Analyse data, interpret outputs and communicate results to non-technical audiences.
• Review pricing and underwriting monitors and escalate key points.
• Monitor underwriting footprint and recommend footprint adjustments.
• Define, prioritise, and report on project work and rate reviews to support product/pricing development.
• Support BAU including reporting.
