Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Principal Technical Pricing Analyst to shape models, methods and pricing capability within the motor portfolio. The role involves mentoring juniors, driving model development, data preparation and credibility overlay, and communicating insights to stakeholders.

Expect to back test, refine models, and push pricing innovation while balancing business objectives. Hybrid working across UK offices is available and global training is provided.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of GLMs and GBMs for pricing models.
• Experience with large data sources and pricing analytics.
• Strong command of Excel, Python and SQL; Databricks or similar.
• Effective stakeholder management and ability to convey complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the pricing manager and mentor juniors.
• Lead development and review of pricing models and plans.
• Back test models and adjust pricing based on impact.
• Ensure projects align with business objectives and drive adoption.
• Drive pricing innovations using new data sources.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team.
