Allianz UK is seeking a Principal Technical Pricing Analyst to shape pricing models, drive innovation, and mentor the next generation of pricing specialists within the motor team. The role includes guiding modelling plans, data preparation, and using credible techniques to support commercial decisions.

You will engage across offices in London, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Guildford and other UK sites, with hybrid working and access to global training and development resources.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of GLMs and GBMs for pricing models.
• Experience working with large data sources to inform pricing decisions.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with Databricks.
• Advanced Excel skills and data manipulation abilities.
• Experience with WTW Radar and Emblem tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the manager and support the development of junior team members.
• Lead the development and review of pricing models, modelling plans and data preparation.
• Back-test models and analyse impact to propose price adjustments.
• Ensure projects align with business objectives and communicate with stakeholders to drive adoption.
• Drive innovation in pricing approaches by leveraging new data sources.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team.
