Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Principal Technical Pricing Analyst to shape modelling approaches, mentor junior colleagues, and drive pricing capability across a major motor portfolio.

You will lead development, validation, and deployment of pricing models, collaborating with stakeholders and using data-driven insights to improve commercial impact. Hybrid work across UK offices is available.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of GLMs for pricing
• Experience with GBMs and machine learning
• Ability to handle large datasets and extract insights
• Strong command of Excel, Python, SQL, Databricks
• Familiarity with WTW Radar/Emblem
• Stakeholder management and clear technical communication

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the pricing manager and mentor junior members
• Lead development and review of pricing models and data preparation
• Back-test models and analyse impact to adjust pricing
• Ensure projects align with business objectives and communicate to stakeholders
• Drive pricing innovation and bring in new data sources
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team
