Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical and EICA design across water and wastewater projects. The role spans feasibility through construction support, coordinating multi-disciplinary designs and ensuring compliance with standards.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with clients and contractors, and contribute to expanding Stantec’s Electrical Engineering capability across the Midlands and South West.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, or working towards.
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA engineering solutions within complex infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience leading technical delivery across multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering design principles, specifications and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of electrical and EICA design solutions across major water and wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and internal specialists to deliver innovative engineering solutions.
• Mentor developing engineers and contribute to the growth of our technical capability.
