Job summary

Stantec is recruiting a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical and EICA design for water and wastewater projects across the Midlands and South West. Based in Birmingham, Redditch, Derby, Bristol or Exeter, you will coordinate multidisciplinary designs and mentor engineers while ensuring technical quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, or working towards registration.
• Experience delivering electrical/EICA solutions in complex infrastructure environments.
• Experience leading technical delivery across multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles and documentation.
• Experience producing deliverables like Single Line Diagrams, Control Philosophies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of electrical and EICA design solutions across water and wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and internal specialists to deliver innovative engineering solutions.
• Mentor developing engineers and contribute to the growth of the technical capability.
