Stantec is seeking a Principal EIA Consultant to lead Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Statements across diverse infrastructure projects in the UK. The role offers national scope with flexible hybrid working from any UK office, collaborating with planners, engineers and environmental specialists.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science or a closely related discipline.
• Membership of IEMA or similar accreditation would be advantageous.
• Strong report-writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of EIAs, Environmental Statements and related documentation.
• Manage EIA projects from scoping through submission.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs to deliver robust assessments.
• Provide advice on environmental constraints, mitigation and consenting.
• Prepare, review and quality‑assure reports and technical documentation.
• Support business development and client relationship growth.
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge across teams.
• Collaborate with planning, environmental and engineering colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.
