Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal EIA Consultant to lead delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments across the UK. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing projects and client relationships while ensuring robust, compliant assessments.

You will contribute to business development and mentor junior staff, with a national role based in one of our UK offices. Hybrid working is encouraged to balance client delivery with team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in EIA, environmental consultancy or related discipline.
• Experience delivering and managing EIA projects, including Environmental Statements and supporting documentation.
• Good understanding of UK environmental assessment legislation, planning policy and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver EIAs, Environmental Statements and associated documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs from technical specialists.
• Manage projects, budgets, programmes and client relationships.
