A healthcare organization in Congleton is seeking a Principal Clinical Psychologist to join their CRHTT team. This role emphasizes clinical leadership and collaboration within the acute care pathway. We are recruiting a Principal Clinical Psychologist to our CRHTT in Congleton, east Cheshire. The post is part of a wider workforce plan for Acute Psychology provision, reflecting CWP’s commitment to improving psychological and trauma‑informed care for patients, families and staff.
Post size: 0.8 WTE. Flexible and/or hybrid working options available.
As Principal Clinical Psychologist Locality Lead, you will provide clinical and professional leadership within the CRHTT, collaborate with the Consultant Clinical Psychologist and local leadership team, and champion person‑centred, relational ways of working across the Acute pathway.

Flexible, part‑time and job‑sharing requests will be considered favourably. All new starters commence in post on a fixed start date each month, following our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme (up to 3 weeks training). The role offers ongoing supervision, continuing professional development support and membership of the CWP Senior Psychologists Group.
