A leading educational support provider in Gloucester is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to support children with social, emotional, and mental health needs in a special school. This is a temporary role with potential for long-term placement based on performance. Candidates should have experience working with children and strong behaviour management skills. Free training and various perks are offered, along with a flexible schedule during term time.
Five Education is supporting a special school in Bristol and we are looking for Teaching Assistants on a supply basis. All the children who attend this school have an EHCP where their main need is SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs). We require confident and experienced teaching assistants to support the children on a day to day basis. These roles are temporary at the moment but have the potential to become long term if you get along well. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who are experienced in working with children, and those with challenging behaviour in particular. Sports coaches who are looking to move into the classroom full time are encouraged to apply.
If you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.
If you think this could be a job for you, please get in touch to find out more from Danielle at (phone number removed). We are always available for an informal chat if you want to find out more about whether this role is suited to you.

Five Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all of the staff we employ to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to undergo checks including reference checks, TRA checks and will need to have a DBS; there will also be an interview.
We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates as they are currently under-represented at this level.
