Job summary

Affinity Partnerships is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher for Weston-Super-Mare, England. This role offers flexible ad‑hoc, short‑term and long‑term placements across primary settings, allowing you to make a genuine difference in children’s education.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or PGCE, have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply), possess a safeguarding certificate, and have recent experience in a UK school with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• QTS, PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Experience working in a UK school.
• Valid safeguarding certificate.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons and provide coverage across primary year groups.
• Adapt to various school settings including ad-hoc, short-term and long-term placements.
• Maintain safeguarding and welfare of pupils.

This is an exciting time to join Affinity Partnerships as a Primary Supply Teacher. We are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable teachers for a range of opportunities across Weston Super Mare, including ad‑hoc, short‑term and long‑term placements.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS, a PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one through AWS
• Have experience working in a UK school
• Hold a valid safeguarding certificate
• Have strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and parents
