Location: Clacton-on-Sea

Pay: £140 to £232.56 per day

Start Date: Immediate start

Are you a qualified primary teacher or an experienced unqualified teacher with strong classroom experience?

I m Dan, and I ve been working closely with primary school settings for the past two years, supporting them with all aspects of their recruitment. I m currently supporting a number of primary schools in Clacton-on-Sea and the surrounding areas who are looking for primary teachers on a supply basis. There will also be opportunities for longer-term work if this is something you d be open to.

Responsibilities

The primary teacher role will involve stepping into classes when regular staff are absent. This could be for daily sickness cover or longer-term absences such as maternity leave. You ll deliver pre-set work, manage the classroom and keep learning on track, while adapting quickly to different schools, year groups and routines. It s a flexible role that suits teachers who are confident, organised and comfortable working across a variety of settings.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or strong, relevant classroom experience
• Confidence managing a classroom independently
• Ability to deliver pre-set work and maintain routines
• Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
