Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our educational team on a Supply basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' academic and personal development. Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum standards and student needs
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavioural notes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and share best practices
  • Support students' social and emotional well‑being by promoting respectful behaviour and inclusivity
  • Organise extracurricular activities that complement academic learning
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavioural concerns
Requirements
  • Recognised teaching qualification relevant to the subject area or age group
  • Prior experience in an educational setting is preferred but not essential for entry‑level positions
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse classroom effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to motivate students
  • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
  • A valid DBS check or equivalent clearance prior to commencement of employment
  • As part of our registration process, you'll need an enhanced DBS check and we’ll need to see and copy your original qualifications before any placement. Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
